We extend a warm Irish welcome to our User Modelling, Adaptation and Personalization colleagues, their accompanying guests, participants and sponsors, and invite you to join us at UMAP 2015 at Trinity College in the center of Dublin, Ireland’s vibrant capital city.

UMAP 2015 will have the theme “Contextualizing the World”, highlighting the significance and impact of User Modelling & Adaptive technologies on a large number of everyday application areas. In order to foster collaboration between academic excellence and industry application UMAP 2015 will include high quality peer-reviewed papers and presentations organized into three main tracks – A Research Track, an Experience Track and an Industry Track. This an exciting time for the world-class research carried out by the UMAP community and Dublin, as a city focused on innovation and cutting-edge research, offers a wonderful venue.

UMAP 2015 will be held in Trinity College Dublin (TCD), which was founded in 1592, and is Ireland’s oldest university. It is recognized internationally as Ireland’s premier university and is world renowned as a center of research excellence. UMAP 2015 will be hosted on TCD’s historic campus, that like Dublin itself combines a wealth of history with state-of-the-art facilities, offering an inspirational and highly effective conference venue.
