Discover Gothenburg

Welcome to Gothenburg

Gothenburg is the largest non-capital city in the Nordics, located on Sweden’s beautiful west coast. The city is easily accessible by air, road, rail, and sea thanks to its location in the heart of Scandinavia.

Visit Gothenburg’s official visitor guide for more information on how to get to Gothenburg.

Visitors are often struck by the city’s relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The majority of Swedes are fluent in English.

The UMAP venue is located in Gothenburg’s historic city center, in the area known as “Inside the moat” (“Inom vallgraven”).
